New Year at Fed square

This is first time to take a new year in overseas.
New year in Australia is normally in Sydney but I invited new year in Melbourne in this year.

I heard a new year celebration at Federation square is the biggest and most crowded in Melbourne.
Since its such a rare chance, I decided to go to Federation square worrying about too much crowd.

I went to Federation square at 8 pm with Xavier and Sakthee who are our share mate.
There were already many people and a pedestrian mall.

Dancers and musicians were playing on stage at Federation square’s as new year celebration.
I was interested in combination of bagpipes and electro music.
I realized Bagpipes is suit to electro.

In the blink of an eye, the time was 1 min before new year.
We count 10 sec before with everyone.
10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 Happy New Year!!!
There were so many fire works from 4 buildings that surround Federation square.
waaao!
very showy!!

New year in Australia is in summer so this has different atmosphere from Japan.
This is also nice.

Come to think of it, we already have spent 5 months in Melbourne.
It make me deeply emotive.

I found Jedi on the way home.
